Hooters of Spartanburg is looking to fill the position of Marketing Assistant.
This position is FUN but can be HARD WORK. We are looking for a person that has experience in marketing, advertising, and/or public relations. Restaurant/Catering experience a plus, but not necessary. Must be familiar with city, local events, business and charities.
We are looking for someone that will be the face of our local location and is comfortable speaking with the public and cold calling businesses. Applicant must be professional and take pride in their appearance. We are looking for someone that is self motivated, yet can follow instructions. We would like to find someone that thinks out of the box and has the ability to bring creative ideas to the table.
This position is 30-40 hrs a week and weekly schedule will fluctuate based on needs and events. Most shifts will be worked between 9am-8pm, but some late nights and weekends will be required. Applicants must have a personal laptop that can be used for email, daily reports and some work applications.
Applicants must be computer literate and proficient in Word, Outlook, and Excel. Publisher or Adobe Design experience a plus. Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule and work good in a team and individual environment.
This position will be based at the local restaurant, and position will report to the General Manager, Director or Operations, and Marketing Director.
Pay: Hourly Rate plus Unlimited Bonus Potential.
